AWARD-winning Scratchworks Theatre Company comes to the Sundial Theatre in Cirencester to rewrite the historic events of Aylesbury, 1963, with their new show Great Train Robbery.

It’s 1963: the heist of the century is underway.

Signals are scrambled, phone lines cut and millions of pounds in cash stolen. Five days later the first clues were found, the gang busted and the rest is history. Or was it?

In their latest theatrical offering, Scratchworks take on this classic tale, with a twist.

What about the ones that got away? What if the four who were never caught were actually women?

Scratchworks is an all-female theatre ensemble from Devon. Using diverse theatrical styles, the company creates original stories with their unique blend of live music, dynamic movement and theatrical trickery.

Since forming in 2013, Scratchworks has enjoyed sell-out shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, VAULT Festival London, Exeter’s Bike Shed Theatre and Bristol’s Wardrobe Theatre, gathering a loyal following throughout the South West.
