9:00am Wednesday 11th June 2008

SHOUT, the ultimate 60s feel-good musical, comes to the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham on Monday, June 16.

Top stage and screen stars Claire Sweeney and Su Pollard will be recreating the heydays of the swinging sixties in this hit musical.

Claire Sweeney is well known for her roles in Brookside, Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Big Brother and a host of West End productions; and Su Pollard will be familiar to many, from Hi De Hi, Gimme Gimme Gimme, West End shows and pantomimes.

This show features the pop anthems Downtown, Son of a Preacher Man, I Only Wanna Be With You, These Boots Are Made for Walking, You Don't Have to Say You Love Me and many more.

Audiences are invited to twist and shout their way around London with the fab five' as they discover for themselves the fashion, freedom, fun and music that inspired original girl power.

Original baby boomers and those born in the 90s can all join together in celebrating the era of infectious, soulful songs that made Petula Clark, Cilla Black, Lulu and Dusty Springfield legendary singers.

Performances continue until Saturday, June 21.
