Wrestling returns to Yate
WRESTLEMANIA is set to sweep Yate again later this month as the stars from CSF Professional Wrestling visit the popular Yate Leisure Centre for an evening of top British wrestling action.
The event titled CSF Redemption' will take place this Saturday, March 29, and will host six Pro bouts featuring the very best in the sport, as 18 wrestlers collide in explosive contests including Tag Team action.
The main event will see a very special bout take place as the All Nations Champion, the masked Urban Warrior, who stands at six foot six and weighs over 21 stone, puts his belt up against Yate star wrestler, and huge fans favourite Dave Mercy in a Ladder Match.
The All Nations belt will be hanging 14 feet above the ring, and the first wrestler to climb the ladders and retrieve the belt will leave Yate as the All Nations Champion.
Another superstar from Yate, Aaron Fusion, will compete in a Light-Heavyweight bout at the spectacular event.
Regular CSF roster members will be on show, along with several new faces making their Yate debut.
American star Tex Benedict, Money Mansfield, Dragon Asui, Kameron Craze, Team Hate (Gideon and Jeckle), Flaming Red, Gallowman, and Phil Hyde are all in action.
Light-Heavyweight champion Alex Steele is on the bill alongside James Baker, Odyssey, Lee Class, Jim Ferguson, High Flying crowd Favourite Canno Tangoe and Robby Everest.
Tickets for the event are priced at just £9 for adults and £7 Concessions. Tickets will be available on the door, however to get the best seats in the house you can get your tickets in advance from the Leisure Centre in person or Box office: 01454 865800 / 865861.
Tickets for this spectacular event can also be purchased from www.csfwrestling.co.uk. The event is suitable for all the family with no age restrictions.
The CSF promotions have been holding events since 1998 and its stars appear all over the country.
One roster member Drew McIntyre has recently been signed up by the American company WWE. McIntyre can now be seen Friday evenings at 10pm on Sky Sports 3 on WWE Smackdown and Monday nights live on Sky Sports on WWE Raw.
Promoter, Dave Thompson said: "Our aim is to promote the very best live wrestling action in the country and at the same time provide a fun filled family night out of top sports entertainment.
The Yate Leisure Centre is a great venue and has a rich wrestling history. We held our companies 9th anniversary event in Yate and the fans in attendance made it such a special night for us. All involved had a fantastic evening. We can't wait to return in March."
