A CAR accident near Dursley has claimed the lives of two young men.
The 18-year-old driver of a Red Renault Clio from North Nibley passed away at the scene on Damery Lane when his car left the road at around 10.55pm on Tuesday, November 13.
His passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Dursley, also died in the collision at Furzeground Wood, near Michaelwood services.
No other vehicles are believed to be involved.
Their next of kin and the Coroner have been informed and the road re-opened at around 7am Wednesday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly a woman who was driving a Suzuki 4x4 vehicle who stopped at the scene shortly after the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101 quoting incident 506 of November 13.
