ONE man has died following a collision between two lorries on the M4 at Almondsbury this morning.
The incident took place at around 8.45am on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 21 and 20. The driver of one of the HGVs died at the scene.
The carriageway has been closed for most of the day while the emergency services deal with the incident and an investigation into the circumstances of the collision has begun.
The lorries are currently being removed from the carriageway and the motorway is expected to reopen shortly.
Motorists affected by the road closure are thanked for their patience.
