PUB regulars in Yate have raised more than just their glasses over the past 12 months.
A group of tea-time customers at the Cross Keys, on North Road, have contributed to more than £4,000 in aid of charity.
The drinkers dug deep for Help for Heroes, which helps servicemen and women on their return from operational duties, and raised a total of £4,030 over the course of 2012.
Pub manager Sam Jackson said: "We always raise money for a charity every year and in the past we have done a lot for the South Gloucestershire Deaf Association. But we thought this was a good cause for 2012.
"We held a Christmas Eve draw and do a regular Sunday raffle as well as all sorts of other things throughout the year.
"It is a good amount of money and the customers deserve a bit of recognition."
Regulars at the Cross Keys handed over the money to representatives from Help for Heroes at the pub on Friday. The pub has not yet decided which charity it will help in 2013.
