A CAR caught fire after being involved in a crash at the Nympsfield crossroads near Uley.
Firefighters had to deal with a blue Vauxhall Zafira, which had set alight after a collision with a Black Audi A3 on the B4066 at around 9pm on Friday, January 11.
The driver of the Zafira was a woman from Wotton-under-Edge while the driver of the A3 was a Dursley man, with his passenger requiring treatment at the scene by an ambulance crew for non life-threatening injuries.
A total of six firefighters from Dursley Community Fire Station, with Watch Commander Neil Bridges in charge, took 30 minutes to deal with the fire.
The road was closed for 90 minutes to make the road safe.
