M4 closed near Tormarton
THE M4 near Tormarton is closed to traffic.
The eastbound carriageway between Junction 19 (M32) and Junction 18 (Bath) is currently shut to traffic following a collision.
Police said the disruption was due to a broken down lorry and the snow.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary has also warned there are hazardous driving conditions on the M5 around Junction 14 (Falfied) and on the A46 between the M4 and Bath.
The force has issued a warning to motorists to avoid all journeys unless they are absolutely essential.
