Waste and recycling collections in Stroud district yet to be collected

WASTE and recycling collections in Stroud district were cancelled on both Friday and Saturday due to the snow causing poor conditions.

A Stroud District Council spokesman said they would be out collecting today (Monday) to catch up on missed collections but will only be able to collect from areas and streets which are accessible.

Householders are advised to leave out their waste and recycling if they have already put it out.

If it has not been collected by this evening (Monday), residents are asked to take it back in, if possible, and put it out for their next scheduled collection day.
