Gloucestershire Police are investigating a botched burglary in The Quarry, Dursley

POLICE are investigating a botched burglary at a house in Dursley.
Offenders broke into a house just off The Quarry at around 9pm on Monday, January 21.
They gained access to the house through a window at the back of the property but were scared off when the burglar alarm sounded once they were inside the house.
The bunglers ran along Quarry Gardens, onto Woodfield Road then left onto Philmore Road.
It is not believed that anything has been stolen.
Police would like to speak to a man who was seen running away from the area at the time, described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall and wearing all black with his hood up.
They are also interested in a woman who was standing by a van in the area at the time.
