THERE are three chances to get involved in amateur dramatics over the next few weeks as Dursley Operatic and Dramatic Society continues its busy Diamond Anniversary season.

The society's growing juniors group will recommence on Monday, February 4 at 7pm in Kingshill House and anyone who attends secondary school is welcome to attend.

Parents are invited to come at 8.45pm to see what the juniors do and for more information on the coming season.

Adult members are invited to an informal drop-in event on Tuesday, February 12, at 7pm, Kingshill House.

The meeting will be to see how you could get involved whether your interest is in production, backstage, make-up, lighting, wardrobe, acting, dancing or singing.

Children interested in a role in the society's production of The Sound of Music in May are invited to a workshop on Thursday, February 21, at 6.45pm.

For more information on the events, call 07890 203318.
