4:30pm Monday 4th February 2013 in News By Alexandra Womack
POLICE are appealing for help to find thieves who stole distinctive china ornaments and pieces of jewellery from a Coalpit Heath property.
It happened on the afternoon of Friday, December 28 when offenders broke into a house in Henfield Lane.
Police believe they made off with a number of items wrapped in a duvet which was also taken from the house.
Officers now want to hear from anyone who has information about Crown Derby ornaments or who has been offered any for sale recently.
A police spokesman said: "Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or who has any information about the whereabouts of the distinctive Crown Derby ornaments which included a picture of a baby in a china frame."
Anyone who can help is asked to call DC Alastair Binnie at Concorde House on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
