THIS YEAR’S Coaley Musichall is proving to be another barnstorming event for everyone’s calendar.

The musical and comedy sketch event is running into its 31st year at Coaley Village Hall and will see the return of 17-year-old star, Kieran Powell, whose skills in ventriloquism have proved to be a big hit.

During the past year Kieran's fame and reputation has progressed, leading him to perform in a West-End Show with Jason Donovan as well as entertaining the athletes at the Olympic Games.

In addition harmony singers, The Elderly Brothers, will be singing their 60s tunes with guitar accompaniments and the ever popular Musichall Chorus will be performing a wide selection of songs and amusing plays for audiences.

Producer Maureen Wibberley said: "While we sing some of the old songs, because they are so popular, we are always changing it to make it fun for everybody, that is the essence of Musichall, to just have great fun.

"It is very popular, people just need to know when it is."

A two-course meal is provided and a bar is available, with funds from the evening going towards Coaley Church. Reservations are now being taken for February 22, 23, and March 1 and 2. To reserve your table, contact Maureen on 01453 890449.
