Gloucestershire Police investigate knife attack over takeaway on Maple Close, Dursley

A DRIVER was attacked and threatened with a knife – all for the takeaway he was delivering.
The 29-year-old Dursley man arrived at a house on Maple Close in the town to deliver the takeaway but once there a man approached him carrying a knife.
The offender moved the knife towards the victim and then punched him.
A second man then arrived and demanded the food, at which point the victim then threw the food down and ran away.
A 22-year-old man from Dursley and a 17-year-old male originally from Humberside have been arrested in connection with the robbery and bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information about the incident between 9.30pm and 9.50pm on Monday, December 17, should call police on 101 quoting incident four of December 18.
