Concert to be held by Rotary Clubs as part of End Polio Now campaign

A CONCERT raising money to help eradicate crippling disease polio is being held next month.

Six local Rotary Clubs including Chipping Sodbury have joined forces to organise the evening of unique entertainment featuring The Temperance Seven.

The concert takes place at the Hexagon Theatre, King’s Oak Academy in Kingswood on Saturday, March 23 (7.30pm).

Funds raised from the event will go to Rotary’s international End Polio Now campaign. Iain Dunnett, president of Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club, said: "Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland is committed to improving the lives of people at home and abroad, especially youngsters.

"This is a great way to make a difference and have fun in the process."
