Two men from Bristol appear in court charged with burglary at McColl's newsagents in Chipping Sodbury

TWO men have appeared in court charged with a burglary at a Chipping Sodbury newsagents.
Jimmy Young and Lee Bourne, both aged 38 and both from Horfield, Bristol, appeared before North Avon Magistrates Court in Yate on Wednesday after a break-in at McColl’s on Broad Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Young was charged with the burglary as well as driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving otherwise in accordance with a licence.Bourne was charged with the burglary.
Both were committed to Bristol Crown Court for trial.
Young was remanded in custody. Bourne was given bail on condition he does not associate with Young, abides by a curfew between 7am and 7pm and attends Southmead police station every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Both are due before crown court on March 14.
