Sodbury Town Council appeals for the names of all war heroes from the town

THE names of servicemen and women from Chipping Sodbury who have died for their country are needed by the town council.
Sodbury Town Council is compiling an up-to-date list of all its fallen war heroes since World War Two.
All names of those who have died fighting for their country will be added to the town’s war memorial on Broad Street.
Currently the memorial bears the names of all those who have lost their lives in battle prior to and including World War Two. But the council is keen to update the list as soon as possible and is asking for relatives or residents who can help to come forward.
