Zumbathon to be held in Yate Leisure Centre in aid of the Jessie May Trust

MEN, women and children are wanted for a charity zumbathon in Yate.

The two-and-a-half-hour party workout takes place at Yate Leisure centre on Sunday, March 17 (10am-12.30pm) in aid of the Jessie May Trust.

It will include a session of non-stop Zumba with guest instructors and a special zumbatomic class for children aged between six and 12 years. Youngsters will get the chance to learn a dance and show it to the parents in the main hall afterwards.

Organiser and zumba instructor Jodie Horton-Stanley said: “We want to encourage men and children too as well as ladies who have never tried a class and lots of the families and staff from the charity are getting involved.”

Tickets are £8 for adults or £4 for kids and will be available on the door. People taking part can also download a sponsorship form to raise extra money and can also donate on via www.justgiving.com/gozumbauk
