A POLICE helicopter, multiple patrol cars and a dog handler have been involved in an operation in Dursley to find two men.

At around 1.15pm on Wednesday, February 27, the force’s helicopter could be seen circling various parts of the south of the town, with patrol cars regularly going through Lister Street and Long Street for about an hour.

A dog handler was also on the scene patrolling Forge Road and Brownings Lane.

A police spokesman said two men were arrested in the Castle Stream Court area on suspicion of burglary.
