Man arrested in Cirencester after groin injuries lead to death

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man succumbed to injuries to his groin.

At around 1am on Friday, March 1, police were called to a property in Watermoor Road after ambulance crews treated the 45-year-old man's injuries but his health deteriorated quickly and he died at the scene at about 1.15am.

A 42-year-old man from Cirencester has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 14 of March 1.
