CELEBRATED authors are visiting Dursley Library this weekend as part of a workshop to inspire the next generation.
Children in Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three have got the chance to meet fantasy writers and ask them questions about their work as well as get their books signed.
The event will take place from 2 to 4pm at the library on Saturday, March 9.
The authors taking part are Ash Mistry author, Sarwat Chadda, co-writer of The Secret Society of Dragon Protectors Debi Evans and Sara-Jane Arbury, author of Gutted.
The event will be the conclusion of workshops with 98 children from all over the county as part of the Read Write South West project.
Any other interested library customers aged eight to 14 are also welcome.
The children’s work is being put into a book called The Lost Islands of Elements, a scrapbook exploring the ground materials of life. Copies will be available to view on the day.
