Police continue search for Phillip Lucas, 70, who went missing from Cheltenham Festival

CHELTENHAM Police are continuing to search for a man who went missing from the racecourse yesterday afternoon, Tuesday March 12.
Searching continued over night for 70-year-old Philip Lucas who had been at the Cheltenham Festival with friends who last saw him at around 5.50pm.
Mr Lucas is white, around 5ft 6in tall, with white/grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue coat and a hat. He walks with a limp, following a knee operation. Philip is from Rotherham and is supposed to be staying in Cranham this week.
Police received a possible sighting of Philip at the Kings Arms in Prestbury at approximately 11:15pm but there has been no confirmed information about his whereabouts.
Officers are concerned for Mr Lucas’ welfare and are asking him, or anyone who sees him, to call Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101.
