St Mary's Primary School in Yate gets green-fingered with gardening club donation

St Mary's Primary School in Yate is growing its gardening club
YOUNG gardeners in Yate have a spring in their step ahead of the new planting seasons, thanks to a donation to buy bulbs.
Members of St Mary’s Primary School’s gardening club have been given £100 by JG Electrical Services.
The money will be used to buy flowers, bulbs and seeds to help make the school grounds blossom this summer.
The club, run by mums Rachel Bushell and Sarah Moseley, is held every Tuesday after school and for £1 each child can learn how to care for flowers, sow seeds and fill planters.
Mrs Bushell said: “We both have an interest in gardening and the children really enjoy the club.
“We do all sorts and help to tidy up the school. We are very grateful for the donation and would be very grateful of any others.”
Contact St Mary’s school office with any donations of money, plants or equipment.
