Police seek drivers or passengers who may have seen fatal accident on M4 today

POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal collision on the M4 eastbound at the entrance to the Brynglas Tunnels at approximately 3am today, Friday, March 15.

The collision involved a dark grey Peugeot 308 saloon which collided with a wall and an electrical sub-station.

The driver, a 67-year-old man from the Cardiff area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

CCTV shows a number of motorists stopping at the side of the vehicle immediately after the collision. Officers are keen to speak to these people. They include heavy goods vehicle drivers and one man who got out of the passenger side of a vehicle and walked over to have a look inside in crashed vehicle.
