DURSLEY, Cam and Berkeley were in the pink at the weekend when volunteers took to the streets to hand out guides on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.
The campaign, which is supported by NHS Gloucestershire and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, first took place in Dursley in 2011.
Cam came came on board in 2012 and this year it expanded to Berkeley.
The event is not for fundraising, but purely to highlight the importance of looking after oneself.
"This year there has been tremendous support from all the trades people who have dressed their windows with a pink theme and organisations that have held pink theme days with pink cakes and drinks," said Maggie Butterfield, one of the organisers.
"This has contributed to make the event very successful in spite of the blustery day."
