A BOUTIQUE on Thornbury High Street went the whole nine 'yarn' to win the town's Coronation-themed window competition.
The Wool Stop's patriotic knitted sheep tea party display scooped first prize with an overwhelming majority of votes from impressed shoppers.
Owner Tina Stephens, with a help from her mother, created the traditional British scene with a twist.
"There are ten sheep so it took just under two weeks to do," she told the Gazette. "We did about one sheep a day and we gave them patriotic jumpers. And we used bits and pieces that we had already.
"We thought we would go for a bit of humour. I was so pleased to win. It was worth the effort."
Second place went to Finishing Touches and joint third to Surroundings and T & J Owen.
Thornbury Chamber of Commerce organised the competition to coincide with July's Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace.
