Gloucestershire Lotto winner keeping tight-lipped about fortune
MYSTERY surrounds the identity of a Gloucestershire resident who has hit the jackpot with the National Lottery.
The winner, known only as Mr F, has cashed in a life-changing cheque of £229,243 after matching five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, June 26.
While he just missed out on the top prize of £2,235,126 which he would have secured if he had got all six numbers correct and the bonus, Mr F shared the second biggest prize of £687,729 with two other lucky winners after buying his ticket on the National Lottery website.
A National Lottery spokesman said: "Well done to Mr F, he has banked this amazing prize with just a few simple clicks – he didn’t even have to pick up a ticket."
Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or, like Mr F, release some details through partial publicity.
