Two men charged with assaulting a police constable after incident at Capones in Dursley
TWO men have been arrested and charged with assaulting a special police constable after an incident at a Dursley nightclub.
Police officers were called to reports of a disturbance outside Capones nightclub on Long Street at around 3.10am on Sunday, August 4.
In the incident, a special constable sustained minor injuries, which did not require medical attention.
A 28-year-old man from Kingswood and a 25-year-old man from Hawkesbury have been charged with assault on a constable in the execution of his or her duty and bailed to Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 9.
