PEOPLE in South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire are invited to join Marie Curie Cancer Care in a twilight 10km walk in support of the work of the charity's nurses.
Walkers will meet at the Badminton Estate on Saturday, August 31 and head off on Walk Ten at 7pm.
The ramble will go through the private deer park and woodland estate, which is home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort.
Participants will then be treated to an evening of entertainment, and are asked to bring along food for an after-dark picnic. The event will end at 10pm with a spectacular firework display.
Everyone signed up to the fundraiser will be given a Walk Ten T-shirt which they can wear on the night and will even be in with the chance of winning over £1,000 worth of prizes, donated by local companies.
These include beauty treatments, meals out, activity days and food hampers.
Under-16s and dogs can walk for free.
All the proceeds will go towards providing more hours of Marie Curie nursing care in local communities.
To register for the walk visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/badminton or call 0845 052 4184.
