FIREFIGHTERS had to prise a dog out of tree in Tirley after it had managed to get stuck.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service Emergency Control room received a call at around 1pm on Sunday from a concerned owner whose dog had run off and had managed to become trapped inside a large tree.
A crew of five from Uckington Fire Station attended and were able to rescue the dog uninjured and without damaging the tree in the process.
Dog and owner were happily reunited and the crew was detained on the scene for a total of 50 minutes.
