Gloucestershire libraries' systems crash
Computer systems are down in all libraries across the county.
Library staff want to reassure customers that the fault is being dealt with urgently and should be fixed tomorrow.
Library members will still be able to borrow and return items and access the internet on the free public computers.
However, customers are unable to renew items, reserve items or access download library services for eBooks and eAudiobooks.
Customers who have been unable to return or renew their books on time due to the computer problems will not be fined.
Katie Smith, operations manager, Gloucestershire libraries said: “We have an engineer coming in the morning and we’re hopeful that the library computer system will be back up and running tomorrow.
"In the meantime we will continue to run with the back-up system until we are sure the system is working again. Customers who have been unable to return or renew their books on time due to the computer problems will not be fined.”
