A WOMAN from Dursley has been charged with drink driving after a single vehicle collision in the town.

The 26-year-old was also charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance after the incident on Uley Road at 5am on Sunday (October 6).

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service control room received a call to reports of a road traffic collision, with a woman trapped in a blue Nissan Micra.

A crew of four firefighters from Dursley Fire Station and five with the specialist rescue appliance from Stroud Fire Station were mobilised to deal with the incident.

In total crews remained on scene for just over one hour.
