Firefighters called to accidental kitchen fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Cam after receiving reports that a fire had broken out in the kitchen.
After receiving the call at 3.50pm on Wednesday, October 9, fire engines from Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge Fire Stations were mobilised with a total of 12 firefighters.
On arrival at the house on Tilnor Cresedent, it was confirmed that it was a small fire in the kitchen, believed to have been started accidentally.
The crews used a hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to take care of the fire, which caused a small amount of damage.
Crews remained on the scene for approximately 40 minutes and nobody was injured in the incident.
