THE ANNUAL summer show at Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre proved to be as popular as ever with a large turnout enjoying the various horse and dog events.
The show has been running for over six years but this was the first year for organisers, Friends of Tumpy Green, arranging the various events including horse classes, show jumping, dressage and gymkhana.
Classes were suitable for the whole family, with lots of riders competing for the first time and in total there were over 130 entries at the centre in Cam.
The dog show, entering its second year, has proved to be a poplar addition to the show, with a wide range of fun classes, from waggiest tail to best child handler at the event on Sunday, September 29.
Chairman of Friends of Tumpy Green Nikki Secker said the group was already planning for its next two events in May and September next year .
“We had a fantastic day, in glorious sunshine, and our biggest turnout ever. It was a good old fashioned family fun show, with classes for everyone,” she said.
“We would love the opportunity to thank all our sponsors and our team of fantastic helpers who made the day.”
