Stroud-based green energy firm undercuts the big six

BRITAIN’S first green energy company, based in Stroud, is currently attracting new customers at a record rate after announcing a price freeze.
Ecotricity has pledged to hold its prices until at least the New Year as the six biggest energy company’s look set to increase their prices by around ten per cent.
As they near 80,000 customers, the firm is now recruiting households at more than double their normal rate.
Ecotricity reduced the price of their 100 per cent green electricity tariff from Tuesday October 1, in order to undercut the standard tariffs of the big six who supply to millions of British households,
The latest move take the firm one step further as they promise to freeze that price.
