A HUGE quilt is being raffled off for charity at a craft fair.

The Dursley and Cam Support Group of the Cotswold Care Hospice is holding its annual crafts event at Coaley Village Hall on Saturday (October, 26) from 10am to 4pm.

The craft fair is now in its 20th year.

There will be a range of needlework and crafts made by the group themselves, as well as a range of other stalls selling handmade crafts.

These include glass, jewellery, children’s clothes, toys, felt work and watercolours.

Each year a member of the Support Group makes a quilt which visitors then have the chance to win by buying a raffle ticket.

This year’s superb quilt, entitled Autumn, has been made by long-term member Val Flack.

Wendy Moore, group chairman, said: “Val is very involved in the hospice. For quite a few years she’s donated a quilt.”

Admission is free and all proceeds go to the Cotswold Care Hospice.
