Barratt Homes opens new regional head office at Aztec West
HOUSEBUILDER Barratt Homes has opened a new regional office at Aztec West.
More than 65 Barratt Bristol staff have relocated to the offices, which has also become the regional head office for Barratt West.
The developer said the regional office signified its support to the South West and comes with plans for a raft of new developments in the area.
Regional managing director Chris Burton said the South West has become an increasingly crucial area of activity for Barratt and the investment in new regional headquarters was testament to the developer’s long term confidence in the region.
“We’re delighted to be making Bristol the regional headquarters and the new offices have been designed to accommodate growth in the future,’’ he said.
“We have been active in the Bristol area for many years with a wide range of successful developments and we have a number of exciting new projects in the pipeline which will build on the foundations we have built in the region.’’
The move to new premises coincides with plans for the launch of 27 major new developments in the region including thousands of new homes at Charlton Hayes. The offices were officially opened by Barratt Developments group chief executive Mark Clare.
