FOUR men have been arrested following the death of Nick Bonnie.

Nick, 30, who grew up in King’s Stanley, died in the early hours of Saturday, September 28, after collapsing in the Warehouse Project nightclub in Manchester while on a lads’ weekend.

It is believed he died after taking what police said was part of a ‘bad batch’ of an illegal substance.

Three men aged 29 and one aged 30, all from the Stroud area, were arrested and interviewed by police last week.

They were quizzed on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and supplying an illegal substance.

They have been released on police bail until December 19.

Police were called to Manchester Royal Infirmary following Nick’s death.

Nearly 1,000 mourners attended Nick’s funeral at Gloucester Cathedral in October.

Former Marling School pupil Nick, who leaves behind parents Pauline and Andy, younger brothers Thomas and Ryan and long-term girlfriend Leah Wilkins, had worked for the Prince's Trust for eight years.
