CARDS, gifts and crafts were on sale in a Christmas bazaar organised by supporters of St Peter's Hospice.
The annual event in Thornbury Methodist Church Hall also had stalls selling books,home-made preserves, cakes and puddings.
The bazaar was arranged by members of the Severnside support group of the hospice, which raises money towards the costs of the Brentry-based facility, with visitors making a donation to its funds.
It was the first of two pre-Christmas fund raisers in Thornbury. The second is a concert to be held in the Methodist Church at 7.30pmon Saturday, December 21.
Called Christmas Celebration, it will feature Cantanti making a return visit by popular demand to sing a selection of seasonal music.
Tickets costing £5 are on sale in Thornbury Town Hall.
