FOUR fire crews were called to a commercial premises at Aztec West where a refrigerator had overheated.
Crews from Patchway, Southmead, Avonmouth and Speedwell attended the scene in Park Avenue, Patchway just after 5pm on Wednesday (December 11) where a number of people had reported a strong smell of smoke.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman James Bladon said: “Firefighters were able to investigate the cause of the smell of smoke and locate it back to a refrigeration unit which had overheated and caused a small fire.
