THOUSANDS of pounds worth of computer equipment was stolen from South Gloucestershire and Stroud College’s music department in the early hours of Monday morning, December 9.
Six Apple iMac desktop computers, four Microsoft computer mice and two keyboards were stolen from the college’s Stroud campus in Stratford Road by thieves who made off in a van.
Offenders are believed to have broken a window using a pole to gain entry to the building and once inside took just three minutes to steal approximately £12,000 worth of hardware.
Police have launched an appeal for information about the break-in, which occurred at around 12.30am.
