DURING the Christmas and New Year holidays there will be some changes to refuse and recycling collection dates in the Stroud district.

The normal day for collection of rubbish and recycling on Wednesday, December 25 will now be two days before on Monday.

The usual date of collection on Thursday, December 26 will now happen on Saturday, December 28.

The rubbish which is scheduled to be collected on New Year’s Day (Wednesday) will now happen on Monday, December 30.

During bad weather refuse and recycling may not be collected due to snow or dangerous ice, please leave it at kerbside for 48hours (including Saturday but not Sunday).

If it is not picked up within this period, take it back in and wait until your next scheduled collection.

Between January 2 and January 20 large skips are being made available for Christmas tree recycling.
