AROUND 40 elderly people, most of who live alone, have been treated to a slap-up three course Christmas lunch at Dursley Methodist Church.
On Monday, December 9 the pensioners were treating to the festive feast at the church's Monday Munch Lunch project.
The event was the highlight of the year for the church project, which organises lunches for two different groups of people every month on a Monday throughout the year.
On this occasion both groups came together for their Christmas lunch and they even received a visit from Father Christmas who brought small gifts for everyone.
Entertainment was provided afterwards by the Age UK Choir from Stroud, led by Pauline Thomas from Uley.
