A WOMAN has been charged with driving offences relating to a collision in September that left a Dursley Rugby Club player paralysed from the neck down.

Molly Zoglowek, 18, from Leaside Close in Cam has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously and driving whilst alcohol level was above the legal limit.

She is required to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates on Wednesday, February 26.

Dursley Rugby Club player Rob Camm, 19, suffered neck injuries in the incident, in which a grey Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin came off Dursley Road in Sandpits at around 4.50am on Sunday, September 15 last year.

Three ambulances were sent to the scene and the former Wycliffe College student was taken to Frenchay Hospital with injuries described at the time as "life-threatening".

Mr Camm now suffers from Tetraplegia, which means he is paralysed from the neck down and requires a ventilator to breath.

His family have set up website www.cammpaign4rob.co.uk to let people know of his progress with his condition, as well as about future fundraising events to buy the specialist equipment he needs.
