POLICE in Forest of Dean are appealing for information after a man died in a collision on the A48 outside Blakeney yesterday.

A black Seat Leon driven by a 30-year-old man from Churchdown was travelling along the A48 towards Gloucester when it left the road and collided with trees at around 10.45am.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner and the driver’s next of kin have been informed.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 128 of January 18.
