A 25-year-old man has appeared in court accused of two arson attacks on a woman's horse riding equipment in Cam, Dursley.
Mark Smith, of no fixed address, is alleged to have set fire to 120 bales of hay, a wooden hay shelter, and two horse trailers belonging to Joanne Jones at Field Lane, Cam, on Monday, January 28 last year.
He is also accused of arson on Monday, June 17 in 2013 when he allegedly set fire to a horse trail box owned by Ms Jones.
Finally, he is charged with criminally damaging a wicker gate owned by Ms Jones between Saturday, 19 and Tuesday, October 22 last year.
Smith made a preliminary appearance before Gloucester crown court on Friday, January 17 and Judge Jamie Tabor QC remanded him until Friday, February 21.
