A YOUNG boy has died after an accident this morning.

The three-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after the collision on Hastings Road in Bristol earlier today.

It happened at around 10.15am and involved a Land Rover and a trailer.

The child was taken to hospital but died of his injuries.

Police said his family is being given support by a specialist family liaison officer.

Officers are still at the scene dealing with the incident and continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision. Call 101 with any information.
