HEAD bobbing, mirroring and revealing your brightest feathers – it isn't just humans who put time and effort into finding and keeping their ideal partner.

In this Wildlife Weekly episode from Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, with One Show's Mike Dilger, we see the array of interesting techniques that wetland wildlife use, but as male birds compete for females and for territories, tensions are erupting.

We also see the new arrivals of tiny harvest mice.

This week warden James Lees also shows us the glorious and the gruesome side of our wildlife, and reveals the secret behind creating such a huge wetland reserve for such a wide variety of wildlife.
