POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a cyclist in Filton.
It happened near the Tesco Express/Esso petrol station on Gloucester Road North in the early hours of Friday (January 31) and also involved a gold BMW.
The 43-year-old male cyclist was not hurt in the crash but his bicycle was driven over and damaged beyond repair.
A police spokesman said: “We’re especially keen to trace two pedestrians who we’re told needed to jump out of the way of the same vehicle shortly before the crash which happened just after midnight this morning.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone else who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident.”
A 60-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the collision and later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
If you can help call PC 4435 Helen Bennett at Staple Hill police station on 101.
