POLICE have renewed their appeal for missing man Andrew Thomas after a car, believed to belong to him, was found near Hawkesbury.
The 44-year-old from Box near Corsham, Wiltshire was last seen at his brother’s address in The Richmonds in Abbeydale on Sunday, March 2.
A grey Citroen C3 car, believed to belong to Mr Thomas was found burnt out on the A46 at the Leighterton turn-off between Nailsworth and Sodbury. An eyewitness who reported the vehicle to police at around 6.45am this morning (March 7) said that the car was first seen at that location at around 6am yesterday morning and was already burnt out. A forensic search of the vehicle is ongoing
Anyone who may have seen Andrew or the vehicle in that area is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 471 of March 6.
